OUR QUESTIONABLE ORIGINS
The Beginning
Late-Lockdown 2020: Toilet paper hoarding, existential dread, and way too much time online. That’s when Flamingo With Sunglasses hatched—because if we were gonna spiral, we might as well make it funny.
What started as a cathartic joke between quarantined friends (and several bottles of wine) became the only greeting card company brave enough to ask: “What if ‘Happy Birthday’ came with a side of uncomfortable truth?”
Fun Fact: Our first cards were hand-drawn on stolen napkins. Now we’re almost legal.
2023
From Napkins to (Questionable) Masterpieces
After two years of thriving on chaos, we realized our dark humor needed slightly more direction than “whatever made us laugh at 2AM.” So this past year, we did the unthinkable: we sat down with actual designers and creatives (and one therapist, just in case).
Together, we:

✔ Brainstormed cards so savage, they made our lawyers cry (future releases pending legal approval)
✔ Plotted world domination—starting with your grandma’s reaction to our Mother’s Day line
